Built in 1956, with almost 40,000 square feet of growing greenhouses and year round garden center. Glass Gardens is a family owned and operated retail operation. Located at the end of West Gambier Street in Mount Vernon, Ohio, we grow a million plants of quality every year just for our Knox County and surrounding area customers.
We grow our quality plants strong and tough by using proven soil mixes at cooler temperatures to give our customers a plant that can withstand Ohio weather and normal customer care.
Glass Garden offers a complete Garden Center to handle all your growing needs. Plus, a great selection of birdseed, birdfeeders, birdhouses for the birdwatching customers.

We offer a year guarantee with our shrubs and trees, all you do is keep your sales receipt and bring it with your tree and shrub. Plus, we grow our own vegetable, annual and perennial plants. Since our plants are grown on premises, we insure healthy and quality plants by avoiding shipping stress. All plants are for our area, zone 5.
